After ordering an additional IP address from the PowerPanel, you need to configure it on your server's operating system to make it active. The method varies depending on your OS or control panel.
Understanding Routed IPs:
Please note that additional IPs are routed to your server's main IP address. They share the same gateway as your main IP. You must not configure a separate gateway for an additional IP, as this will cause network conflicts.
On Windows Server, you can add an additional IP address through the advanced properties of your network adapter.
Win + R, type ncpa.cpl, and press Enter.Do not add a gateway in the Advanced settings. The additional IP will automatically use the main gateway already configured for your server.
