Connecting to a Windows Server (RDP)

Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) provides a full graphical interface, allowing you to manage your Windows server as if you were sitting right in front of it.

What You'll Need

Before connecting, ensure you have the following credentials ready (found in your setup email or the PowerPanel):

Server IP
e.g., 123.123.123.123
Username
Default: Administrator
Password
Your initial password

Step-by-Step Connection Guide

1
Click the Start button and search for "Remote Desktop Connection".
2
In the "Computer" field, enter your Server IP address and click Connect.
3
When prompted for credentials, enter Administrator as the username and your server's password.
4
If a certificate warning appears, click Yes to establish the secure session.

Note: Once connected, you can manage your server just like a local computer. For better performance, ensure you have a stable internet connection.

Connection Issues?

Check your server status in the PowerPanel or perform a reboot if the system is unresponsive.
