Installing an OS

This guide explains how to perform a new installation of an operating system on your server using the PowerPanel.

Important Notice Before Starting

Please review these points carefully before you begin the installation process.

Backup Your Data: Triggering an OS installation will wipe all data on all drives of the server. We highly recommend performing a complete backup before you proceed.

Time Estimate: Depending on the chosen template, it can take up to 1 hour for the system to process the request and an additional 1-2 hours to complete the installation.

Step-by-Step Installation Guide

1
Initiate the Installation

Log in to your PowerPanel and navigate to Hardware → Server Management. Click the Actions button next to your server and select Install Operating System.

2
Configure Your OS

Enter the Restore Code sent to your email. Then, select your desired OS template (e.g., Ubuntu, Debian, or Windows), choose the language, and set a new password for the root or Administrator user.

3
Confirm and Launch

Review your settings and click Next. After the final confirmation, your server will automatically reboot and the installation process will begin.

The installation is irreversible once confirmed. Your server will be unavailable until the process is finished.
