This guide explains how to reset a lost or forgotten root password for your Linux server using the Recovery System.
The first step is to boot your server into the Linux Recovery System from the Power Panel. If you're unsure how, please follow the "How to Start Recovery Mode" guide.
Once the system is booted, you'll receive an email. Log into the recovery environment via SSH as the root user with the password you selected.
