Cancelling Rescue Mode

Once you have finished your work in the rescue environment, you must cancel rescue mode to reboot your server back into its normal operating system.

Do not reboot from within the rescue environment. Always cancel rescue mode via the PowerPanel — this ensures the server boots correctly from its hard drives. Rebooting directly from within a VNC session or the rescue OS may leave the server in an inconsistent state.

Steps to Cancel Rescue Mode

1.Navigate to Hardware → Server Management in the PowerPanel
2.Find the server that is currently in rescue mode and click Actions next to it
3.Select Abort Rescue from the dropdown menu

Your server will automatically begin rebooting into its production operating system.
