How to Install Your Plesk License

After installing a server with a Plesk template, you need to install your license key to activate the panel and unlock all its features. This guide shows you how to download your key and install it via the Plesk interface or the command line.

Step 1: Download Your License Key

First, you need to download your Plesk license key file from your customer account.

  1. Log in to the PowerPanel.
  2. Navigate to Hardware -> Server Management.
  3. Find your server in the list and click on Details.
  4. In the details view, you will find a download link for your Plesk license key. Download this file to your local computer.

Step 2: Install the License Key

You can install the key using the Plesk user interface (recommended) or via the command line.

This is the easiest and most common method.

  1. Log in to your Plesk panel with your administrator credentials.
  2. In the left-hand menu, go to Tools & Settings.
  3. Under the "Plesk" section, click on License Management.
  4. Click on the Install Key button.
  5. Choose the option "Upload a license key file".
  6. Click "Browse...", select the license key file you downloaded from the PowerPanel, and click OK.

Your license will now be installed and the page will refresh to show your new license details.
