Getting Started with Plesk
If you have chosen an operating system with Plesk pre-installed, this guide will help you with your initial login and the first steps of your web interface configuration.
Your Login Credentials
To log into the Plesk interface for the first time, please use your server's root credentials:
Username
root
Password
The password you set in the PowerPanel during the OS selection process.
Accessing the Plesk Web UI
Once you have your credentials ready, you can access Plesk via your web browser. By default, it operates on port 8443:
Option A: Via IP Address
https://[your-server-ip]:8443
Option B: Via Hostname
https://[your-hostname]:8443
Security Note: Since Plesk initially uses a self-signed certificate, your browser will display a warning. Click on "Advanced" and then "Proceed to [IP] (unsafe)" to continue.
Issues after installation?
If there are any problems directly after the new installation, please open a support ticket in your PowerPanel.
